A new Fortnite leak seems to suggest that the massively popular game could even be available to play on Apple TV in the near future.
The information comes from the well known @StormLeaks account on Twitter and appears to show data regarding Apple's tvOS in Fortnite's code.

Apple does offer an official 'Nimbus Wireless Gaming Controller' developed by SteelSeries but the ~$50 price tag attached to is likely to take some of the appeal away from Fortnite Battle Royale's otherwise free-to-play experience.
Update: As we mentioned was a possibility in our original article below, the tvOS reference found in the Fortnite code does not mean an Apple TV version is in development. Epic Games senior PR rep Nick Chester tweeted earlier today that, 'Epic isn't planning to bring Fortnite to Apple TV. References to tvOS in the Fortnite files are the result of general Unreal Engine support for the Apple TV platform.'

That won't stop Apple TV gamers from getting excited, however. Fornite for iOS has been a huge success for Epic Games, pulling in an app rating of 4.5/5 with 2.3 million user reviews at press time.
